System Development Process
Designing a solution tailored specifically to your organization's needs and conforming to its business rules can be a complicated and time-consuming endeavor. To ensure the smoothest development cycle, Incotesy has developed the following rigorous step-by-step process:
- Business needs analysis
From the get-go, one of our talented engineers will work with you to conduct an in-depth analysis of your existing system(s) and/or legacy process(es) that need improvement. This vital step in the development process gives us a first hand glance at your work environment, and a better understanding of your local business practices.
- Project planning
During this phase, a project manager will work along side the engineer to adjust our proposed solution based on your time and budget constraints. From this, a detailed project plan with realistic timelines will be generated and presented to you for review.
- System design
Implementing a successful solution is heavily dependent upon the quality of the initial design. In this step, we create a comprehensive design document that outlines your solution's architecture, including call-flow and data-flow diagrams. Once the design document has been completed, the engineer in charge of your project will review it with you to make any necessary adjustments.
- Application development
Incotesy engineer(s) in charge of your project work diligently to develop the application according to your design specifications.
- System testing and documentation
During this phase, we'll put your system through rigorous testing procedures including system call-flow, data-access, and stress testing. After we are satisfied with the solution, we'll give you a phone number you can use to access our development system via the telephone, allowing you to review the solution first hand, before it is even deployed in your environment. Once testing has been completed, an administration and operation manual will be created.
- Installation and training
At this point, we will install all necessary hardware, configure software, establish host connections, and perform on-site testing. After testing has been completed, we'll train representatives from your organization on how to administer your solution. At the completion of the installation, we will ask you to complete a short checklist affirming that we've met all of your requirements and specifications.
- System support
Your solution will be under complimentary warranty for 90 days after installation. This warranty covers all system hardware and software delivered by Incotesy. During this period, to ensure that any problems that may arise are resolved as quickly as possible, you'll have direct access to the engineer(s) who developed your solution. To extend your coverage beyond this period, you'll have the option to sign up for one of our three comprehensive system maintenance plans.
