data:

One of the most important components of an interactive solution is the data interface. In order to provide accurate real-time data access to system users, Incotesy works with you to develop a custom host interface, creating a link between the interactive solution and the host computer system(s) on which the data reside.

Some common interface methods between the IVR/IWR system and your host data are:

Terminal Emulation: The system connects to the host environment using a terminal interface. To the host system, the IVR is just another terminal user.

Direct Database Access: The system accesses data directly from any ODBC or OLE DB compliant database or database server such as Oracle, Micorsoft SQL Server, SyBase, Access, Dbase or FoxBase.

Component-Level Interface: The system uses Windows Component Object Model (ActiveX/COM), Distributed COM (DCOM), or Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) to interact with the host application(s) running on the same system, or on another system accessible via a network connection.

Custom TCP/IP Interface: The system connects directly to the host application(s) using a customized interface specification. The specification can either be provided up-front, or a custom specification can be developed if needed.

HTTP/XML: The system can access information available on any web server on your Intranet or the Internet using HTTP or XML.

Serial: For legacy host servers, the system is capable of direct communication with the host using an RS-232 connection.

web:

An Interactive Web Response (IWR) system is a world wide web based solution designed to work in conjunction with an IVR solution. Using the open standard protocols of the Internet, an IWR allows you to provide 24/7 real-time data access to your clients, business partners, vendors and employees. Web interfaces for IWR systems are designed to be consistent with the IVR systemfs process flow.

With the accessibility of the telephone and the flexibility of the web, a complete IVR/IWR solution will give your business the competitive edge youfve been looking for.
